    Chad Worz

Chad R. Worz

Chad Worz received his Bachelors of Science and post-B.S. Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati in 1996 and 1998.  He developed an innovative clinical practice in the long term care setting in Ohio and directed the pharmacy practice of a regional, independent pharmacy serving 10,000 residents in long term care.  In July of 2007, Chad established Medication Managers, LLC, whose mission is to educate and serve nursing home residents, nursing home administration, long term care pharmacies and the public through a comprehensive knowledge of medication use, geriatric pharmacy and the systems that manage the pharmaceutical care of the elderly in the United States.  He specializes in geriatrics and cardiology and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice for the University of Cincinnati, College of Pharmacy, Board Member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and a Member of Humana’s National Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.

    Craig Stiens

Craig Stiens

A native of Cincinnati, OH, I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy with both a BS and PharmD.  Working in LTC for the past 17 years I have managed many departments in a LTC pharmacy.  Started Medication Managers with one of my partners Chad Worz.  We service over 750 LTC facilities across the country.  We provide numerous clinical services to our partners in LTC as well as those in correctional facilities.  We have also started multiple full service non-for-profit retail pharmacies and most recently staffing and providing clinical pharmacy services for two physician groups.   Our most recent and maybe our most exciting endeavor is the start of our pharmacy residency program that started July1, 2016.  Our two residents will work on projects such as antibiotic stewardship as well as helping to roll out RxConcile.  RxConcile is our live pharmacist telehealth product for patients discharging from long term care facilities.

 

 

Rick Hytree

Rick Hytree, a 1995 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, has been practicing in long term care as a consultant pharmacist for over 15 years.  Rick is an avid golfer and provides strong clinical leadership for his facilities. He is licensed in Indiana and Ohio and has practiced in both states his entire career.

 

 

Lyndsi White

Lyndsi White graduated from Texas Tech Health Sciences School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2006.  After working in hospital and retail pharmacy settings, she began working in long term care in 2009. After 2 years in operations, Lyndsi formed Intellicare Pharmacy  Consultants, Inc. with Gina Cole. Intellicare was modeled to be an independent pharmacy consultant company and grew quickly throughout Dallas and east Texas.  In 2014 Intellicare merged with Medication Managers, LLC to form Manage Meds, LLC and expand services throughout Texas and to continue to focus quality consultant pharmacist services on the at-risk geriatric population.

 

 

Gina Cole

Gina Cole graduated from Texas Tech Health Sciences School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2007.  After graduation, Gina worked as the Clinical Director for a Dallas/Fort Worth hospice pharmacy focusing on patient specific palliative care and formulary management.  In 2010, Gina Cole formed Intellicare Pharmacy Consultants, Inc. with colleague Lyndsi White. Intellicare was modeled to be an independent pharmacy consultant company and grew quickly throughout DFW and east Texas areas.  In 2014 Intellicare merged with Medication Managers, LLC to form Manage Meds, to expand services throughout Texas and to be equipped with effective consultant pharmacists focused on individual patient care and medication management.

 

 

Cindy Purcell

Cindy Purcell is a 1992 graduate of the University of Texas. Cindy has specialized in long term care consulting pharmacy practice and has over 20 years experience consulting, managing and establishing consulting pharmacy programs and systems. She is a active member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists and has completed the geriatric training course and certification.

 

 

Judy Coon

Judy Coon is a licensed consultant pharmacist (Florida), a certified geriatric pharmacist (CGP), and certified Medication Therapy Management (MTM) pharmacist provider. She has multiple years of experience in developing and directing clinical and regulatory initiatives for long term care/specialty pharmacies. She has helped lead a start-up pharmacy  operations team to obtain board of pharmacy license, organize pharmacy operations workflow, implement processes for 797 compliance, and select pharmacy operations software systems.  She has implemented operational systems and protocols to decrease medication related events and standardize dispensing practices, resulting in more efficient dispensing systems, dispensing accuracy, improved net profits and customer satisfaction. She has spearheaded pharmacy Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs, participated on corporate risk committees, and worked as an InterDisciplinary Team (IDT) member for customer CQI.

 

 

Norb C. Kinross

Adjunct Associate Professor, University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy

Dr. Kinross graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy in 1999 with his BS in Pharmacy and then in 2001 with his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.

He completed a one-year fellowship with Eli Lilly & Co. in 2002 where he worked in Global Regulatory Affairs and was an instructor for a class at the Butler University College of Pharmacy.

Currently Dr. Kinross works as a Clinical Pharmacist for Medication Managers serving various nursing home facilities and long term care pharmacies as a consultant, participates on the formulary development and review team, and is in charge of all student advanced clinical rotations.  As a Faculty member of the College of Pharmacy he is main preceptor for the Doctor of Pharmacy Students that participate in an Advanced Clinical Rotation with Medication Managers, precepts in Skills Lab at the College of Pharmacy, co-instructor for Geriatrics class elective, and occasionally lectures for other classes for the current Doctor of Pharmacy students and has lectured to UC College of Medicine students.  Dr. Kinross serves on the Board of Directors for Pharmacy OTR, the first non-profit pharmacy in the country, previously served on the Ohio Pharmacist Association Bd of Trustees, was one of the Co-hosts of “Managing your Medications” a weekly radio program on 55 WKRC that ran for several years, and currently is co-president of University of Cincinnati, James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy Alumni Council.
